Since Demna Gvasalia took over as Creative Director in 2015 Balenciaga’s brand image has shifted immensely, to designs that thumb their nose at traditional fashion standers and expectations, opting for more playful and post-modern approach to fashion. Knowing this the goal to communicate the brand as a whole to our audience was to reference Balenciaga’s status as a legacy fashion house while also working in elements of a contemporary streetwear stylings.
